Hudson Valley Garden Association

Our mission is to stimulate passion for gardening in the Mid-Hudson Valley and to support and promote local garden resources.
Blobbidy Bloobidy

Dear Hudson Valley Garden Community,

After four years of inspiring gardeners and promoting local garden resources, Hudson Valley Garden Association (HVGA) is closing our doors. Over these past years we have strived to increase awareness of the bountiful, and beautiful, world of gardening that exists in our region.

Since it's inception, Hudson Valley Garden Association has helped stimulate passion for gardening by scheduling lectures and workshops, organizing garden/nursery outings and tours, promoting local garden events, organizations and public gardens. Through our e-newsletter we shared stories and photos of local garden people, places and accomplishments; there were many, and you inspired us.

Hudson Valley Garden Association would like to thank the garden community as well as the individuals who have given their time, support and funding to our organization. We hope HVGA has inspired you to continue exploring the resources available to Hudson Valley gardeners, and to grow as gardeners. We end our brief existence as an organization hoping that you have been, and will continue to be, excited to do more, see more, and learn more in the garden.

With appreciation,
Laura Wilson and Rebecca Glembocki
